I'm very unclear how a blog works! Does each blog have a topic and the blog is to discuss that topic or is it like a diary and you just unload on the general public, whatever you're comfortable with sharing. As you may have deduced, I don't read many blogs. One could argue this is my website and I can do what I want. Another might argue, as long as it relates to me it's true to the topic of the blog as a whole! I don't care for arguing, life is too short! More fun, less fighting!
Today is quite uneventful and antic free! My boyfriend, we shall name him Camp, is sick. I'm at his house tending to him, fetching water and Gatorade (not sponsored), emptying his urinal and his sick bucket, etc It's dawning on me now that I am unclear why I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog about my antics, I don't have a life. My job is sporadic at best, I don't go out often, basically I think my friends, famiIy, and I find me so funny we want to share it with the world! Alright, so you haven't seen much evidence of it yet but hopefully we'll change that soon!
Let's talk antics! I was on some BS right out of the womb! Usually when you're born breach, you present feet first, but not when you're full of sarcasm and mischief. Baby Annie presented cheeks first, and I don't mean my passable mug! I came out showing the world what I thought of it before I could even speak.
I'm quite sure I got my attitude from my mother, when I was two, I was forced to switch daycares. The one I had to leave was a dream but was closing down due to personal reasons. It covered the walls with paper for us to draw on, everything was fun and full of kids to play with. The one I switched to was a woman's home, it was just little Annie and the woman's baby. She laid a blanket on the floor, put her baby and me on the blanket and that is where we were to stay. Can anyone guess her success rate? On my second day, which was also my last, I had had it! Little Annie was not having anymore of this, I was FED UP! I stood up and then stepped on the babies hand. Now before you get out your pitch forks and torches, let us remember, I was two. That being said, I can neither confirm nor deny whether I did this on purpose. I'm thinking, from the following events, that little turd was making that innocent baby pay for Mom's mistakes. Not satisfied by the cries of the innocent, I remembered I was told not to touch anything. I went straight for the Knick knacks, I did not pass the opposite of stop nor did I collect $199+$1. I knocked a couple of the porcelain treasures off the shelves on my way to her bedroom. Let's stop and discuss. Where was this woman? I get that toddlers are fast but her baby is wailing, I'm breaking stuff, now exploring a strange house. If she were any good at this babysitting gig she could have stopped me by now but I was not finished! Somehow during my travels, I discovered her jewelry box in her bedroom. Where the heck is she, I don't know how much time had passed, I was two and didn't find a watch! I did however find her engagement ring. Listen, I'm not trying to victim blame but I was two, not like I had a map, I didn't get a house tour, I'm assuming this had to take longer than a couple minutes. Side bar, you ever notice whenever someone says, "Im, not trying to say..." that's exactly what comes next! Back to the story, I hate being a stereotype but I did take the ring to the bath room and flush it, not to rush the climax but I think we all saw it coming!
I know what you're all thinking, big deal, everyone has terrible twos but I think my shy period was my phase and my terrible twos are who I am, except for hurting the baby. Now that I'm grown I champion for the innocent, and let karma dole out justice of perceived wrongs!
I asked my nephew Jay about blogs and he said, "that's such a boomer question!" Excuse me sir but I am a gen Xer. I'll boomer you upside your dome!
In conclusion, I was a feisty little! Some bad stuff happened, I spent my childhood shy, and broken but when I turned 18 my ego broke through. Details and more ramblings to come. Check back frequently for updates. Feel free to email me with comments, suggestions, questions, or concerns. Until the next one!
